Pro-Cultura, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization established in 1996 in New York, seeks to bring to the public’s attention culturally diverse traditions and values from around the world as a means to build bridges of respect, understanding and tolerance.
Through educational programs, conferences, publications and conservation efforts, Pro-Cultura wishes to create conditions for dialogue and cooperation in the midst of currently increasing tensions and global challenges.
We believe that culture and historical heritage are major contributing factors to a people’s sense of purpose, identity and well-being, as well as a source of enrichment, respect and peaceful development among peoples.
Pro-Cultura’s initial programs have focused on traditional medical systems worldwide.
Anna K. Souza is Pro-Cultura’s Director.
